The District runs mosquito traps every Monday night throughout the season in strategic areas to monitor mosquito populations. We identify the mosquitoes caught and send samples to the Colorado Department of Health and Environment for testing to determine if West Nile Virus is present in that area. If West Nile Virus is found we immediately take appropriate measures and will be spraying.
